In Canalside there is a strong commitment to develop and celebrate the concept of ‘every member ministry' - recognising that each one of us has gifts to share and that what we say and do with all we meet speaks of our faith. The Rector works with an active team of clergy, Licensed Lay Ministers, Lay Pastoral Assistants and Lay Worship Leaders and values the vital contribution of every Church member in achieving this.

A Welcome from our Rector

Welcome to Canalside Benefice. In line with the Diocese of Salisbury’s commitment to “Making Jesus Known,” our churches are focused on the question Jesus asks his disciples: “Who do you say that I am?” Our discipleship and worship are part of our efforts to try and answer that question.
